SaleApp Advertising Limited came about due to the efforts of Nathaniel Joseph. It gained a lot of popularity due to its novel idea and for the fact that Nathan is just 21 years old. SaleApp makes advertising a lot easier by taking it online and shortening the tedious process of getting your message out. They connect their customers with newspapers adding ads to the classified section through their Website and Android app. That’s not all, they are working with digital screens and signages at supermarkets and other venues with a very high footfall. Getting your message out has never been easier.
Nathan’s trusted team consists of Mario Joseph (CFO), who handles accounting and finances, and Larisson Soares (Animation and creative head) who works on the designs for their ad campaigns. The team and product are currently based out of Goa, and working with local stores and large supermarket franchises. They intend to stick around in Goa for some time before taking on larger markets around the country.
“We are the first IT startup in Goa to be selected for Facebook’s developer focused programme catering to early stage mobile focused startups”
SaleApp made sure there were no compromises when creating their system, having the website and application properly encrypted is one of the features they pride themselves on. Other than being one of the most secure apps out there, they added an additional advantage. Their advertisements can be reposted from one newspaper to the other without any additional effort. This allows you to increase your visibility but without spending too much time doing it. This also saves customers the trouble to head to individual newspaper offices to get their content posted up.
Goa has a giant market that allows for products like SaleApp to thrive. Strangely since Goa is seen as a small state, this market had not been tapped by other similar companies working on a national level. This gave SaleApp the opportunity they required. There are more than 2000 classified ads posted in newspapers every day across the state and SaleApp is working toward getting the largest piece of that pie.
SaleApp has some large names on their platform already. Names like Skoda, PNG Jewellery, Honda among others are encouraging the rest to join the platform. In the little more than a year that they have been running, they managed to bag around 1800 ads through their website and app. Future plans include targeting some major metros throughout the country. After adding that to their resumes, they’ll move to rural areas around the country.
